1. Connect the portable hard drive to the USB port on your PC or Mac when it’s off, a USB 3.0 port is recommended.
2. After pressing the power button, keep tapping ESC or Delete on your keyboard（wired or 2.4g wireless Keyboard, BT keyboard does not work） to enter BIOS. For Mac users, simply hold Option and choose the portable hard drive to boot into.
3. By choosing the hard drive in the boot override option, your PC will boot into Batocera for once, after restarting it will get back to your operating system. If you would like Batocera as the default booting option, go to the boot page and set the portable hard drive as boot option #1.

1. Why can’t I enter the game system after connecting to my computer?
All products have been tested, if you have any problems please check your computer settings
First, please connect the hard drive to the USB 3.0 interface, and then turn off the computer’s secure boot option. The steps are as follows:
Enter the BIOS setup interface. Select “Secure Boot” press“ Enter” to confirm, and select “Disable ”in the pop-up window. After selection, press the ”enter“ key to confirm, and press the F10 key to save and exit.
2. Why can’t some games be opened?
Since this system has a large number of emulators and games, there are many emulator cores built in. This problem is due to the game matching the wrong emulator core. You can replace the emulator core in the game menu to solve this problem.
Press and hold the A button, select “Advanced Game Settings” and change the emulator.
3. Why do some games run slowly?
The smoothness of the game is related to the configuration of your computer. The better the computer performance, the smoother the game will run.

Works as intended! Did a virus scan to make sure there wasn’t anything nasty waiting for me, then set it up via the instructions. Tons of emulators and games, but a lot of them are duplicates accross different emulators. Some of the emulators only have one game, for what I can assume is to test the performance of the emulator.
The higher end games will only run as well as your processor and gpu can handle, so be mindful of that. Mine only came with one PS3 game that crashes early in the game, but I honestly think that may be more tied to hard drive since it’s most likely an old hard drive.
There was a lot of disc chatter coming from it when I was doing the virus scan and running some of the larger game titles. Make sure to back up the data on a better and more responsive drive. For $20, overall, it’s a great deal.

Great HDD loaded with roms using Batocera v33. The process of playing games is very simple even for those who aren’t tech savvy, however, unless yours comes with any faults amd needs updating to a newer version, DO NOT attempt to update the Batocera version included. I made the error of updating it via the settings prompt and I was no longer able to boot any of my roms. Because of this, I had to reflash the HDD and re-upload the roms/bios for the necessary emulators.
My HDD was loaded with mostly older games; up to Dreamcast, N64, PSX, a few of ps2, and a singular ps3/switch game. Attempting to re-apply the bios settings are definitely a pain for ps3/switch. Other than those gripes, you have easy access to a ton of roms.
Personally, I was hoping for up to the entire PS2 library and could’ve have been fine with getting rid of the PS3/Switch emulator, as most who are looking for something like this often aren’t looking for those sort of roms anyway.

Drive has as many games as advertised. Have tested games on both a laptop and desktop. Both work flawlessly. Also moved all ps2 and snes directly to my own RetroArch just wanted roms. Keeping drive as a backup. Batocera will need to be updated. Verizon I recorded I believe is 33. Will have to make space on drive to complete. Good deal

this lil drive is awesome. I would tranfer this to a faster drive but for the price you really can’t go wrong if your lazy like me and been doing this for so long it makes me crazy having to track all this down but now I have a nice cheap backup that works great. glad I bought this.
